Egmont Publishing launches monthly Bing kids’ magazine

London, 6 July 2016: The new publication will feature stories and activities starring Bing and his cast of friends, as well as stickers to use throughout the pages.

The magazine will make its debut on July 20th and will arrive with a free gift for kids: a miniature garden play set with a watering can, trowel, fork, shears and a Froggy soaker.

Developed by Acamar Films, Bing is an award-winning pre-school television series that rocketed to popularity when it first aired in 2014. It has since scooped a host of awards including the 2015 International Emmy Kids Award and was nominated for a Children’s BAFTA and Broadcast Award.

“We have published Bing as a one-shot magazine on several occasions in the last year,” said Laura Adnitt, publishing director of Egmont’s pre-school magazine portfolio.

“Each time it has been a hit and I am delighted that we are now able to launch Bing as a monthly frequency magazine. The content gives Bingsters an opportunity to engage with their favourite characters through print with interactive puzzle pages, stickers and stories.”

Aimed at kids aged 2 to 5, the magazine retail at £3.99.
